OUR STORY

Redeemer Baptist Church, as our name indicates, is a body of believers that is focused on our redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ. God has changed each of us through what He has done for us and what He has done in us. He then brought us on our various journeys into biblical community in Canton, Missouri to love, worship, and serve Him in this place. 

Therefore, we strive to be God-centered in all that we do. Our focus on God compels us to study the Bible, discover its truth, unify in our understanding, and actively live out its gospel message. In unity, we offer prayers of thanksgiving, confession, repentance, and petition. His love for us compels us to respond in worship to Him in spirit and truth through songs, hymns, spiritual songs, and throughout our whole lives. Our love for Him drives us to love others and boldly proclaim His truth so that we might all rightly know and praise our God together. 

Our biblical community consists of individuals who recognize that for God’s Glory and in service to His Kingdom we are both senders and the sent. As senders, we want to use our lives to disciple others to go and serve Him. As the sent, we want to be ready when God sends us to love and share the gospel with our families and friends, with our neighbors and colleagues, and, perhaps, with people in another city or around the world.
